Any structure over 10' x 10' (100 square feet) will require a building permit.
A valid building permit WILL NOT be issued until:
1) all paperwork is received in the office
2) construction is approved by the building inspector and Council
3) invoices for services is paid in full.

ARE YOU PLANNING TO DEVELOP YOUR LOT?
You require a development permit application to approve the overall design or concept of a project and to meet zoning/setback standards. Please include a site plan drawing that shows the location of your building(s) with all measurements to the property lines. All setback distances to the new build should be shown on the site plan as well. Fees apply to this permit application.
ARE YOU PLANNING TO BUILD ON YOUR LOT?
You require a development permit AND a building permit application form. A building permit approves the actual construction and ensures it meets building code requirements. Building drawings must accompany this application. Fees apply to the Village and the Building Inspector.
